    • UPDATE: During the time of implementation of using tablets to build social emotional skills in the Preschool classroom, students have made great strides in working together and helping each other out. According to Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment data my student have increased those skills by 30%.

    • A great assessment strategy I use is to follow up any summative with student analysis so they will take ownership of their performance. Formative assessments are used throughout lessons to guide instruction.

      • I love this strategy. I’ve recently started with data notebooks for our weekly target checks in grammar. Students have to keep up with their original scores and the retakes and analyze their progress in each skill. I’m hoping to be able to incorporate this with on-demand writing as well.
